Boog Powell and Brooks Robinson had RBI's in the game which led the Orioles to victory over the Senators.
The 1969 season was Hall of Famer Ted Williams' first year as Manager. Ted Williams nicknamed "The Greatest Hitter Who Ever Lived" played for the Boston Red Sox where he won 2 Triple Crowns and was a Nineteen time All Star. He was chosen as "Manager of the Year" for the 1969 season.
